Defense Secretary Robert Gates once said "the patriots who have volunteered to serve in our armed services have no equal in the world. I made a solemn commitment to the Congress, to the nation, and to you to keep the welfare of men and women in uniform uppermost in my mind at all times." The Veterans Affairs department recently estimated that of the over t20,000,000 veterans, an average of twenty veterans each day commit suicide in the United States. According to that statistic, over 6,000 veterans commit suicide each year. One veteran or service member is one too many.  Suicide on this scale is a serious tragedy. Warrior’s Hope plans to help the local community and surrounding areas curve these statistics.
